I started getting into barbering at a young age. In my earlier years, I spent time with my Dad (Ron West) at his shop by The University of Dayton called All Sports Barber Shop. I would sweep and help out after school.

 

 I enrolled in barber school in November of 2007, completing my schooling in August of 2009. 

 

Having graduated and in need of a job. Tony Monnin of Russia, OH previous owner of Vandalia Barber Shop took me under his wing. As much as I've learned from being around the industry and barber school. The knowledge I gained from not only Tony, but three other barbers with decades of experience is priceless. 

 

January of 2011, I purchased the Vandalia Barber Shop. 2015 we got married. In 2016 our daughter was born, along with the purchase of Executives Barber Shop which I renamed The Heights Barber Shop.

 

 In 2017 I got my Teaching License from Ron West Barber College.

October 2019 our son was born.
